Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Accounting Analyst will apply strong analytical skills to extract and analyze accounting data, manage accounts receivable processes, and generate complex reports while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of data across the organization and assist internal property accountants with transactional issues
• Prepare and post accounts receivable charge templates to corporate ledgers in accordance with company policies
• Extract and compile information from various data sources to deliver timely reports to internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on financial data analysis and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and complex formulas
• Experience with property management systems and/or Oracle ERP is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
