Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting financial operations remotely, the full-time Accounting Analyst will manage general ledger accounts, assist with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed

Required qualifications

• 6 years of accounting experience with an associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a similar field
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Experience assisting with internal and external audits
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements for financial operations
