Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time remote Accounting Analyst will support daily escrow balancing, reconciliation, and financial analysis activities to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting while collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve and validate reconciliation reports from multiple data sources to ensure accurate transaction capture and revenue recording
• Analyze transaction-level data to identify and resolve discrepancies, variances, and out-of-balance conditions
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments to correct discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-4 years of related Accounting or Financial Analysis experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for handling large data sets and analysis
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
