Accounting and Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Accounting and Payroll Specialist is a full-time remote position responsible for processing payroll, managing tax withholding, and applying accounting principles to analyze and reconcile financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll and manage payroll deductions and tax withholdings
• Assist with multi-state payroll tax matters and ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform monthly general-ledger reconciliations and provide reports for annual financial audits

Required Qualifications

• Completion of college-level accounting coursework
• Five years of industry or public accounting experience
• Experience with Paylocity or similar payroll systems
• Experience with multi-state payroll tax and accounting software like Sage 100
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
