Accounting Assistant Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Manager, Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of quarterly and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP and Bermuda statutory requirements
• Collaborate with the controllership function to prepare and review key financial statement disclosures
• Manage efforts to enhance the control environment and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Industry experience in financial services, insurance, or Big 4 preferred
• Qualified CPA candidate preferred but not required
• 3+ years of experience in financial services with a strong operational and technical accounting background
• Proficient in general ledger software and Excel; SAP experience preferred
• Experience in a dynamic environment focused on process improvement
