Accounting Associate

Job Summary

Overseeing daily cash transactions, the remote Payment Processor Accounting Associate will reconcile client bank accounts, manage suspense accounts, and ensure compliance with operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile client bank and suspense accounts while ensuring adherence to standard operating controls
• Manage day-to-day cash transactions for life and annuity products, maintaining compliance with internal standards
• Prepare Unclaimed property reporting and support tax reconciliation and remittances to federal and state agencies

Required qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Strong accounting background with knowledge of the life and annuity insurance industry preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software packages
• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
