Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Consultant to support financial reporting and compliance for Medicaid contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned state contracts and ensure compliance with financial reporting
• Complete and submit state agency financial reports and support audit requests
• Analyze financial data and validate reports for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• Expertise in data analytics and financial analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Understanding of data repositories and financial regulatory reporting
