Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant Consultant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting/finance support for government contracting clients, including processing invoices and payroll
• Facilitate client communication and build strong client relationships while maintaining proactive communication with team members
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and DCAA regulations while supporting month-end close processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, highly preferred
• 2-5 years of full life cycle accounting experience
• Must be a US Citizen
• Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in a GovCon accounting environment and familiarity with FAR & DCAA compliance highly preferred
