Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely from anywhere in the U.S., the full-time Accounting Consultant will oversee Medicaid readiness filing coordination, support various audits, and perform detailed reviews of affiliate contracts while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Medicaid readiness filing coordination and ensure clarity on information requests and deadlines
• Provide support for audits including DOI Exams, Medicaid, and internal audits, serving as the lead coordinator for intersegment audit requests
• Analyze intersegment data to identify trends and issues, and maintain logs for Department of Insurance requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting, finance, audit, and/or regulatory environment
• Experience utilizing excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
