Accounting Controls Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Analyst, Accounting Controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end close related to inventory, COGS, and/or Distribution
• Reconcile inventory adjustments from co-manufacturing plants to ensure proper classification
• Analyze cost and operational trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in financial positions, with at least 1 year in Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment
• Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
• Strong Excel skills and competence with other Microsoft functionality
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus
