Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Department Chair in Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise full- and part-time faculty, including hiring, training, and performance appraisal
• Collaborate with the Scheduling Manager for class scheduling and faculty assignments
• Oversee course curriculum development and maintain classroom standards

Required Qualifications

• MSA or MBA with CPA required; Ph.D. or terminal degree in Accounting preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in post-secondary education, preferably with online instruction
• Leadership experience and familiarity with online learning environments preferred
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online meeting technology
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and maintain a flexible schedule
