Accounting Generalist Contractor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Accounting Generalist (Remote, US).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in month-end closing duties and financial reporting across all entities
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance while developing accounting policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting workflows and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting
• Advanced skills in Excel and experience with accounting software
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred
• Proficiency in GAAP principles and strong general ledger knowledge
