Accounting Instructor

Job Summary

To support student learning in a remote environment, the part-time Accounting Instructor will deliver course material, fulfill administrative requirements, and engage in program improvement strategies while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Delivers course material in accordance with the college curriculum and fulfills administrative requirements for each course
• Utilizes student achievement data to develop program improvement strategies and participates in program assessment and evaluation
• Engages in student service activities, provides advisement and tutoring, and collaborates with colleagues to support student success

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in the subject area or a related field with 18+ graduate hours in the subject area
• Required certificates, licenses, and registrations for the courses to be taught
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Ability to read, comprehend, and present information effectively in various settings
• Mathematical skills to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts
