Accounting Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Lead to manage core accounting processes and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the entire monthly close process and maintain the digital asset subledger
• Oversee the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and revenue recognition schedules
• Prepare workpapers for financial audits and tax filings while driving automation improvements

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of accounting experience, preferably a mix of public accounting and industry
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting (ASC 606, GAAP)
• Experience with period end close processes and proficiency in Google Suite and accounting ERPs
• Ability to operate in ambiguity with strong ownership and accountability
• Strong analytical skills and experience in cross-functional partnerships
