Accounting Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial statements and reconciliations
• Build the accounting infrastructure from scratch, including internal controls and accounting policies
• Lead annual audits and ensure year-round audit readiness

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS company
• Strong technical command of US GAAP and familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606); CPA preferred
• Experience managing full-cycle closes and external audits
• Proficiency in ERP platforms and experience with evaluating or implementing new systems is a plus
• Experience managing or mentoring accountants, or readiness to do so
