Accounting Lead

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time remote Accounting Lead will manage cross-functional initiatives to enhance the month-end close process, develop project plans, and act as the liaison between various teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and remediate control deficiencies in the month-end close process
• Develop and communicate project plans, goals, and resource needs effectively to stakeholders
• Review and enhance current accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in public accounting
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and experience with technical accounting policy implementation
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
• SQL experience or strong interest in developing SQL skills
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration
