Accounting Lead

Job Summary

Seeking an Accounting Lead to oversee month-end close activities, financial reporting, and audit readiness in a full-time remote role, while driving operational excellence and supporting on-chain accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the monthly close process and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Oversee revenue accounting, operating expenses, and vendor activity
• Serve as a primary contact for external auditors and support regulatory compliance filings

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close process ownership
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with revenue recognition and accrual accounting
• High proficiency with Google Suite, Excel/Google Sheets, and accounting ERP systems (Xero preferred)
• Interest in crypto-native accounting operations and digital asset accounting
