Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee the month-end close process and drive strategic accounting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for people-related costs and ensure accuracy in financial statements
• Drive optimization of close processes through automation and efficiency improvements
• Lead cross-team accounting programs and represent accounting in strategic projects

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a large public company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Strong foundation in US GAAP, particularly in payroll and equity compensation
• Experience with large ERP systems, preferably Workday Financials
• Advanced Excel skills and a passion for process improvement and automation
