Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager (Remote) to oversee and optimize the general accounting and financial close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 3 senior accountants
• Close the books monthly in accordance with GAAP, including journal entry review and account reconciliation
• Automate and streamline manual processes and assist with integration of acquired practices

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a managerial role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
• Able to effectively manage a remote team in a dynamic environment
