Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to support the finance team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger and financial statement closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and HGB
• Support post-merger integration of subsidiaries and optimize accounting activities
• Coordinate and support income tax returns, VAT returns, and execute transfer pricing policy

Required Qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or a finance-related professional education
• Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB
• Experience in post-merger integration and ERP projects (Microsoft D365 and NetSuite) is a strong plus
• Business fluent in written and spoken English and German; other languages are advantageous
• Experience in internal controls and process optimization
