Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting group and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages a team of accountants, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Establishes goals, workflows, and process improvements for the accounting team to enhance productivity and service quality
• Oversees financial transactions and prepares accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Significant experience in accounting or finance management
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
• Ability to work with internal and external auditors
