Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to support its finance team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks for the general ledger and financial reports in accordance with US-GAAP and HGB
• Assist in standard costing processes, including booking and analyzing variances
• Support post-merger integration and participate in projects to optimize accounting processes and implement internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration or comparable financial training
• At least 5 years of experience in preparing financial statements according to US-GAAP and HGB
• Experience with post-merger integration and ERP projects, particularly Microsoft D365 and NetSuite
• Fluent in German and English, with additional languages being a plus
• Experience in internal controls and process optimization
