Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee its accounting operations and ensure financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting processes, including financial statement preparation and compliance with regulations
• Oversee payroll processing and assist with annual audit preparation and budget development
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring continuity of operations and performance evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in team management
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems, preferably Sage Intacct and QuickBooks
• Previous experience in non-profit organizations and financial audits is preferred
