Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and manage the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring data integrity and performance goals
• Lead the month-end close process and maintain the General Ledger in compliance with GAAP
• Oversee procurement, accounts receivable, and inventory management processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-6 years of accounting experience in a high-growth environment
• CPA certification is highly preferred
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Medical Research is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite
