Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and drive efficiency in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
• Provide oversight and review of accounting team output, supporting coaching and prioritization
• Oversee vendor management, accounts payable, and expense management processes to ensure compliance and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certifications are a plus
• 7-10+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Experience with ASC 606 and leading audit preparations
• Proficiency in accounting software (QBO/Rillet, Ramp) and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
