Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager in the Not-for-Profit sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day and month-end close entries, including revenue and payroll
• Prepares and reviews complex reconciliations for balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Assists in the preparation of year-end financial statements and 1099 submissions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in nonprofit accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred
• Proficiency in automated accounting systems and spreadsheet applications
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client requirements
• Advanced understanding of general and subsidiary ledgers and financial statements
