Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to help build and scale accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own core accounting workflows, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue-related processes
• Execute components of the month-end close process, maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger activity
• Support financial audits and tax compliance, preparing necessary documentation and schedules

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience in a startup, SaaS company, public accounting firm, or consulting environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals
• Experience with general ledger systems, preferably QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Experience with invoicing, bill pay, collections, and expense management workflows
• Demonstrated interest in or experience with AI tools that improve workflows
