Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month, quarter, and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and oversee sales tax compliance across multiple states and countries
• Identify efficiency opportunities in financial systems and implement scalable solutions

Required Qualifications

• 7 to 12 years of accounting experience, including time in public accounting
• Experience in startup or high-growth tech environments
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition and internal controls
• Proven ability to manage audits and maintain external auditor relationships
• Experience with accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
