Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for a service-based organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing coaching and feedback

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a service-oriented environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting and billing systems used in service-based organizations
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
