Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing general ledger accounting and financial reporting, the full-time Manager of General Accounting will oversee month-end and year-end close activities, maintain financial records, and lead a team while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and financial statement analysis
• Prepare financial statements and audit schedules for senior management decision-making
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals to drive performance and professional growth

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting leadership roles, with prior public accounting experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite or similar platforms
• Proven leadership skills with experience in building and managing a team
