Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing the accounting departments, the part-time Accounting Manager will provide mentorship to staff, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP while working remotely nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accounting department and create development plans for staff members
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings, ensuring timely completion of fiscal deadlines
• Establish and monitor internal controls, developing accounting policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
• Seven or more years of experience in Accounting, with two to three years in a management role
• Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices
• Strong analytical skills and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
