Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Manager of Accounting, this full-time position will oversee the month-end close process, manage Accounts Payable, and lead payroll-related accounting while ensuring compliance with US GAAP in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly close for operating expenses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage the Accounts Payable function, improving workflows and processes for invoice processing and vendor onboarding
• Support the rollout of a new purchase order system and lead payroll accounting, including journal entry reviews and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience
• 2-3 years of people management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Experience in high-growth technology or SaaS environments preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with Netsuite and Zip preferred
