Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Supervising payroll and accounting functions, the full-time salaried Accounting Manager will manage financial reporting, assist with event settlements, and ensure compliance with financial policies, working onsite in Lubbock, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Supervises payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other accounting functions
• Prepares financial statements, monthly reports, and assists with external audits
• Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records and system controls

Required qualifications

• B. S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
• 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level
• Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
• Effective supervisory skills and ability to handle confidential information
