Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the Controller in a full-time capacity, the hands-on Accounting Manager will execute month-end close processes, oversee day-to-day accounting operations, and improve accounting efficiencies in a multi-entity organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain organized close documentation
• Supervise the Accounts Payable Specialist and assist with year-end audit preparation and tax filings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-6+ years of accounting experience, with strong month-end close and financial reporting support
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience in intercompany and multi-entity accounting
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience, preferably with Sage Intacct
• Ability to work 8-5 in Eastern or Central time zones and meet pre-employment requirements
