Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Looking for a high-impact leadership role, the remote Accounting Manager will manage client relationships, oversee accounting functions, and deliver financial insights for a portfolio of high-growth startup clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing strategic advice on accounting and financial activities
• Manage and mentor a team of Staff and Senior Accountants, ensuring quality and accuracy in financial reporting
• Oversee all accounting functions, including the monthly close process and financial statement preparation

Required qualifications

• Approximately 8+ years of relevant client-facing accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting is required; CPA or MBA is preferred
• Expertise in Web3 (Crypto) accounting and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) accounting is a plus
• Significant experience with core GL platforms like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct
• Strong ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly to clients and non-financial stakeholders
