Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing financial services organization, the full-time salaried Accounting & Reporting Manager will oversee key accounting functions, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including cash management, accounts payable, and payroll, while preparing accurate financial reports and management reporting packages
• Document and maintain accounting processes, ensuring compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements, and assist with audit coordination and regulatory support
• Develop positive relationships with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and support strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, audit, or regulatory reporting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
• Experience within the banking or financial services industry preferred
• CPA designation preferred
