Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Ambitious and detail-oriented, the remote Accounting Manager will own the full cycle of expense management, including accounts payable and corporate spend, while driving month-end close activities and providing critical insights through operational dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage expense operations and accounts payable, ensuring real-time visibility into payables health and compliance
• Oversee GL expense account management and support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Lead and mentor accounting staff while promoting process improvements and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or remote-first environments
• Deep hands-on experience with accounts payable and expense operations
• Strong GL and month-end close experience, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Proven ability to build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting deliverables
• Exceptional organizational skills and comfort with exploring AI tools for workflow efficiency
