Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing the multi-entity month-end close, the full-time Accounting Manager will oversee general ledger activities, supervise staff accountants, and ensure accurate financial reporting while working remotely or from Rocklin, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned areas of the multi-entity month-end close, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
• Supervise and develop staff accountants and clerks, mentoring their growth and maintaining the integrity of the close
• Prepare and review balance-sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances promptly

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated supervisory or lead experience
• Strong general-ledger and reconciliation fundamentals, including full-cycle month-end close
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data management
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP preferred
