Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will manage client relationships, drive the month-end close process, and prepare financial statements while leveraging accounting systems like Xero.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
• Drive the month-end close process and collaborate with the Controller on client inquiries
• Prepare draft investor correspondence and maintain investor and legal documents in the FundPanel system

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in audit, alternative asset industry, or fund administration
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients
• External auditor experience, CPA certification, or MBA is a plus
• Working experience with accounting systems such as Xero and Quickbooks
• Proficiency in software systems including Gsuite, Microsoft Office, Box, and Slack
