Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the part-time remote Accounting Manager will manage accounting departments, mentor staff accountants, and oversee financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting departments and provide technical direction and support
• Establish and monitor internal controls and develop accounting policies and procedures
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with fiscal deadlines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
• Seven or more years of experience in Accounting, with two to three years in a management role
• Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices
• Strong analytical skills with advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
