Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Driving the company's accounting operations, the remote Accounting Manager will manage the monthly close process, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support financial reporting in a high-growth technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies
• Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and automation within the accounting function to improve processes and internal controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Experience supporting annual audits and managing full-charge accounting
• CPA preferred; experience in technology or high-growth startup environments is a plus
