Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the financial operations of multiple television stations, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will manage journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, and budget preparation while collaborating with station management and staff.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and input journal entries for month-end close and annual budgets for each market
• Work with station General Managers on revenue and expense forecasting, and address AR and AP issues
• Review and approve Accounts Payable invoices and prepare financial statements and analyses for each market

Required qualifications:

• Previous accounting experience with a degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel and other computer applications
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
