Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will be responsible for the integrity of the general ledger, managing the financial close process, and leading a small team while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, managing deadlines and reviewing work
• Prepare and review journal entries and perform account analysis and reconciliations
• Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching and feedback

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Approximately 5 years of progressive accounting experience in both public and corporate accounting
• Experience with financial close processes, general ledger analysis, and financial statement review
• Ability to supervise and lead a remote accounting team of 1-3 direct reports
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP or financial accounting systems
