Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading core accounting operations, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to optimize accounting processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process while ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting
• Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
• Support premium, claims, commission, reserve, reinsurance, and underwriter reporting activities within an MGA environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership responsibility
• Insurance industry accounting experience, preferably in an MGA or carrier environment
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
