Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Owning payroll administration and customer billing support, the full-time Accounting Manager will manage payroll operations through Rippling, ensure compliance with U.S. payroll taxes, and address customer inquiries related to billing and subscriptions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end payroll through Rippling, including new hire setup and pay changes
• Ensure accurate processing of federal, state, and local payroll taxes and monitor multi-state tax compliance
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and subscription changes while coordinating with Sales and Support

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, or a related finance role with direct ownership of payroll operations
• Hands-on experience with Rippling payroll system
• Solid knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations at the federal and state level
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
