Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the remote Accounting Manager will manage the company's cost of goods sold, inventory, and revenue accounting, ensuring accurate and timely month-end closes while developing processes and controls as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly COGS close, including reconciliations and supporting entries, while collaborating with accounts payable
• Oversee inventory accounting end-to-end, ensuring accurate classification and reconciliation across systems
• Manage revenue reconciliation across various channels, resolving variances and ensuring proper recognition of revenue and related COGS

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of accounting experience, focusing on inventory COGS or revenue
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost of goods sold
• Experience with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Proven ability to independently manage workstreams and drive them to completion
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems such as QuickBooks or Bill.com
