Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing private equity-backed enterprise software company, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations while leading the accounting team and ensuring the accuracy of financial information for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
- Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition for various software subscription streams and manage compliance with accounting standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA/CMA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Experience in an accounting role for a software subscription business for a minimum of 3 years
- Proficiency in ASC 606 revenue recognition and strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite or Intacct is required; Salesforce experience preferred
