Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing roofing and construction company, the full-time Accounting Manager will take ownership of the accounting operations, including the full accounting cycle, job costing, and financial reporting, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Owning the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting
- Overseeing job costing and work-in-progress schedules to inform leadership decisions on profitability trends
- Leading compliance for federally funded projects and optimizing external applications integrated with QuickBooks Online
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies, preferably with CPA certification
- Strong knowledge of construction or job-costed accounting practices
- Experience managing external stakeholders and cross-functional relationships
- Familiarity with federal project accounting compliance is a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and related digital tools
