Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, this full-time remote position will manage business-unit accounting, oversee financial reporting and compliance, and lead ASC 606 revenue recognition and capitalized software accounting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies
- Oversee ASC 606 accounting, including contract reviews and revenue schedules, while managing capitalized software development costs
- Monitor sales and use tax processes, customer aging, collections, and SOX compliance activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred
- Prior experience with complex accounting work and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
- Experience with SOX controls and internal or external audits
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and billing systems
