Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support the organization's accounting operations, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will manage the month-end close process, oversee compliance with GAAP, and lead the accounting team while collaborating with various departments to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the month close process and general accounting functions, including intercompany accounting and account reconciliations
• Lead and develop the Accounting team through coaching, training, and mentorship to promote engagement and professional growth
• Assist in managing the annual audit process and support accounting and financial integration activities related to acquisitions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
• At least 4 years of experience in building and leading a team in a public or private equity-backed company
• CPA certification and public accounting experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and experience with month close and consolidated financial reporting
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining internal controls
